Reports Where: Las Vegas, Nevada (Aladdin Casino & Resort) When: August 20, 2004 Written by: Steve Montgomery Set list:   1) Roll Over Beethoven  2) She Even Woke Me Up To Say Goodbye  3) Sweet Little Sixteen  4) Over The Rainbow  5)Why You Been Gone So Long  6) Drinkin'  Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee  7) Before The Night Is Over  8) Great Balls Of Fire (false start as Jerry jokes with the audience a bit)  9) Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On  10 Great Balls Of Fire (ended with a big stool kick) It was great. I don't care if Jerry is only doing 35 minute shows, they are full of energy, and very uptempo with not long breaks in between songs etc. Jerry played for 25-40 minutes, and he would have played longer I think had the (uneducated audience regarding Jerry) wasn't yelling out requests for Great Balls Of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin' after every song. I could tell that Jerry was in the mood to play more but, they got him side tracked. Jimmy Rip was there playing with the band. Jimmy reassured me that all of the fans will be VERY pleased with the album, and he guarantees that it captures the true essence of Jerry Lee even though it is duets etc. Jerry was in a great mood, joking throughout the show, played the piano with his boot. Jerry looked sharp in a black suit with a red shirt and red boots. The Aladdin staff was the rudest I have seen. The ushers and security wouldn't let any photographs be taken at all. Nor would they let anyone get very close to the stage. The house was rocking when Jerry closed out with GBOF and Shakin', literally everyone in the audience was on their feet and dancin, it was really cool to see.
