Jean-Pierre:
"A friend of mine – Jacques Delessert - who was working at the Geneva Airport and myself
were waiting for Jerry’s plane to land in the private jet area. We were constantly in touch with
the control tower. The private jet made its announcement for approach two minutes too late: at 10:02 PM. The strict and rigid regulation forced JLL and the band to fly to Lyon.
That was a bad day all the way: the cab driver from Lyon took the wrong border-customs
point to enter Switzerland; as a result he had to drive through the city to find the venue
instead of the usual 10 minutes from the nearest crossing point, losing another half an
hour!!! People had to wait from 9:00 PM to 2.00 AM in a overheated and expensive place.
This is a picture of the show with all the musicians on it: Pete Fletcher on drums, Ray Gann on bass, Butch Baker and Ken Lovelace on guitars."

Folke:
"In the spring of 1993, Jerry visited Oslo on March 19. We were surprised to see that he had
put on quite a bit of weight and seemed very uninspired. He also arrived late and the club
was full of drunk people (including myself, my mother and my girlfriend, we were all
smashed). The club went wild when Jerry got on stage and he did a fair show. Highlights included "There Must Be More To Love Than This" and "Mona Lisa".
The next day we were going to see Little Richard and passed the hotel where Jerry was
staying and we went in. JW was in the lobby and he told me Jerry was up in the lounge
playing piano. I went up there and Jerry was playing "Oh Lonesome Me". They were about
to leave, but he posed for some pictures, then came straigh over to me, slapped me on my
shoulder and say "Hi, Killer, how are you". We walked out the door to the waiting limo and I
didn't get the chance to talk to him again for 12 years until Green Bay last month.
I like the profile pic, it reminds me of the 1960's pictures of Jerry."

Piet:
"A picture that belongs in this album it this one from Jerry and his lovely daughter Phoebe.
She is a very warm person, a great friend, but most of all she's taking good care of her daddy and he's got all the reasons to be very proud of her."
